| Kevin Foley founded KEF Media Associates 20 years ago after spending five years at two leading public relations agencies, Burson-Marsteller in New York and Los Angeles, and Ketchum Public Relations in Chicago. Prior to his public relations career, Kevin was a city hall and police reporter for the Manchester (Connecticut) Evening Herald. While managing consumer public relations accounts in 1984, he was unable to find a video news release vendor. With the help of a freelance television news producer, he began creating and distributing video news releases for his PR clients. This proved to be so successful, that he launched his own company specializing in VNRs in 1986. From the beginning, KEF Media Associates has approached the business of video public relations from the clients' perspective. That is to say, unless there are meaningful, measurable results, the entire exercise is pointless. The company's motto is Value Added, Not Volume Driven, which reflects its customized approach to developing sound broadcast publicity tactics. Kevin lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife of 26 years, Susan Lee Foley. They have two grown children, Patrick and Katie. |
