 KEF Media Associates Celebrates 20th Anniversary

                            
ATLANTA, April 2006 – KEF Media Associates, a leader in the sponsored news industry, hosted a 20th anniversary celebration on April 26th at its recently expanded headquarters in Atlanta.Dozens of leaders from the Atlanta public relations community attended.

A former account group manager for Burson-Marsteller and Ketchum, Kevin E. Foley launched the company on May 1, 1986, in Chicago with no employees and no clients.He moved the company to Atlanta in 1993 and since then, it has grown to nearly 40 employees serving clients like Coca-Cola, The Home Depot, State Farm and Purina as well as most leading agencies including Manning Selvage & Lee, Cohn & Wolfe, Ketchum, Weber Shandwick, GolinHarris and CKPR.

Among those attending the celebration were Bob Cohn, founder of Cohn & Wolfe; Ellen Hartman, president of Weber Shandwick Atlanta, and Bill Marks, leader of GCI Group’s North American technology practice.

“The founding principle was to apply our understanding of the public relations discipline to the practice of producing and placing sponsored news content for our clients,” said Foley.“I’m proud to say we stuck to our guns and it paid off.”

KEF Media now occupies 10,000 square feet in Atlanta’s Means Street loft complex after acquiring 3,000 square feet of adjacent space in March and adding a production studio for client satellite media tours and news clients.

In addition to satellite media tours, the company produces and distributes VNRs, B-roll, public service announcements, radio media tours and radio news releases, new media projects, corporate marketing and sales presentations and TV programming.KEF Media also produces “Barbecue America” for PBS and the American News Network’s “Consumer Edition,” a weekly news magazine comprised of sponsored news content.
